History

Devotion to wine for 50 years.

Cappella Sant’Andrea farm was bought in the 50’s by Giovanni and Renato Leoncini. It is 30 hectares large and 1 km far from the medieval city of S. Gimignano. In the 90’s Giovanni, together with his daughter Antonella, decided to build a new cellar and to extend his possessions to increase production. The most important wines of the farm arise in these years: S. Gimignano Rosso DOC Serreto and Vernaccia Selezione Rialto, created by Giovanni and by the oenologist Paolo Salvi in collaboration with Giulio Gambelli. At present Antonella leads the farm together with her daughter Flavia and her son-in-law Francesco.
